Black powder cartridge rifle (BPCR) is widely covered on the internet and some suggested resources are included below. The majority or articles here currently relate to long range muzzle loading (LRML), a subject less widely featured. There are however some common aspects of BPCR and LRML and perusal of all information here is suggested.

International Competition

Since 1999 the MLAIC (World Governing Body for muzzle loading shooting) have held Long Range World Championship competitions for muzzle loading rifles.

Additional international competition for both muzzle and breech loading black powder rifles have been organised by both the World Long Range Historical Rifle Shooting Association the World Creedmoor Association.

Intermarco/Ardesa/Aral - A Spanish made rifle for the target shooter.
Original Match Rifles - Original long range match rifles are still competitive against today's reproductions.
Parker-Hale - The Parker-Hale rifles have been a popular choice for the long range marksman looking for a military style rifle since their introduction in the late 1970s.
Pedersoli - Davide Pedersoli & Co. manufactures a number of rifles that may appeal to the long range muzzle loader.
